Connecting YOU and your GIFTS to a MINISTRY

In the book of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul describes the nature of the church and challenges believers to live as the living body of Christ on earth:

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Eph. 2:10 ESV

God has equipped each one of us with special gifts,skills and talents. To "walk in them" doesn't mean to save them just for ourselves, but to seek to help and serve others in kindness, love and gentleness.

There are many ministries at HBCLZ that regularly need volunteers to help them achieve their Kingdom agenda.* There are also many group activities that can help you grow closer to Christ as you receive from others through their special gifts, skills and talents..

The Connections Ministry has been developed to help you identify your special gifts, talents or skills and then link you with a church leader who is in need of your abilities. The Connections Ministry will also link you to other ministries that will help you strengthen your knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ.
