Our children always enjoy our Kids Quest programs. This summer our 3year olds -1st graders are learning about the the Beattitudes of our Lord. Our 2nd-5th graders are learning about "Brokenness" and "Myths kids have about God". Lessons and memory verses can be found under the "weekend ministy" . We encourage Parents, to take time to partner with us in your children’s spiritual growth ! After every Kids Quest service, we provide take-home sheets for all children two years old through fifth grade. These flyers include the story summary, key points, a Bible memory verse and application. Lessons for each semester as well and the memory verses can be found on our webpage under This Quarter's Lessons. Monthly, we provide parents additional information about our Children's Ministry in the form of our Parent Newsletter. These are two practical tools parents can use in training their child in the ways of the Lord and the truths contained in His Word. In addition, you can help reinforce your child’s learning experience by:
- Asking your child about what they liked best and what they learned this week from God’s Word.
- Having your child re-tell the Bible story.
- Work with them on their Bible memory verse.
- Inviting your child to teach you one of their new songs.
- Affirming them as they apply the weekend teaching to their daily lives.
- Taking a moment and introducing yourself to your child’s teachers and let them know of any special needs that your child may have.
Lastly, get involved. Be a presence in the classroom and become part of this ministry team! We depend on parents just like you to help staff Kids Quest.
